The whirlwind of shows

Cirque du Soleil Corteo = wonderful. And may have a follow-up.

We only showed up for toujitsuken at 10, but we got B seats at a steal of a price :) BaraAme - not as confusing as people make it out to be. Tani impressed me with her fire, and Micchan's hair was messily adorable, but Tomu stole the show for me. She needs to do more comedy ♥

And then there was the revue, in which Ume-chan rocked the house. You have to respect a musumeyaku who can dance with a stage-ful of otokoyaku and pwn every single one of them. (Also, was Tomu speaking in sign language while singing? It looked that way.)

Also, Takarazuka-An is very dangerous for fans of OGs. I am now the proud owner of an autographed photo of my girl ♥

Next is Tuesday. Tanz der Vampire. With a guy I've been starry-eyed about for over four years.

This is a good trip :D

Who's the guy in Tanz? Is it the same one you liked in the Warsaw production?

Nope. This would be Yuichiro Yamaguchi. I've loved him on audio and DVD as Rum Tum Tugger in Cats, Raoul and Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Death in Elisabeth, Valjean in Les Miserables, and Von Krolock in the 2006 production of Tanz der Vampire. And I never, ever expected to see him live :D

I'm glad you guys are having so much fun out there! I hope Tanz der Vampir lives up to your expectations! And congrats on the Ichiro Maki photo! I need to learn more about her, she was really really good in the one show I saw her in.

She's my all-time favourite, so I'm biased, but I do recommend her in Flowers Bloom in the Murasakino as well, and anything from her post-Takarazuka career. At some point I may have to do screencaps from her New Year's Eve concert as well, because she and Mari Hanafusa were the best team - for all that TakaHana was special, IMHO it was with Maki that Mari showed the most potential.
